Greetings to you from warm sunny Chennai!

A few points to help you on – checking in at the venue starts on 21st Jan at 0700 hrs. Workshop attendees, please note the locations of your workshops and how to get there. When you register for the workshop you will get the badge for the entire conference. Please note that the “Critical Care workshop” and the “Robotic Surgery Workshop” are closed to further registrations as they are overbooked. The Managing Committee meeting is at Dr K Bhasker Rao Hall on the 21st followed by a faculty dinner at 8 pm.

The C G Saraiya CME on the 22nd is at the Chennai Trade Centre followed by the committee workshops and inauguration in the evening all at the same venue. Please lookout for the ceremonial entry of the new President at the Inaugural dinner and be there to welcome him.

The Scientific program is up on the website and please check your participation. The major speakers have all confirmed their participation. The free communications are also on the web with the details of presentations.

The Banquet on the 23rd is a subscription dinner at the Grand Chola and promises great entertainment and food. Unfortunately the booking for it is closed now.

The Grand Gala dinner on the 24th at Vandaloor is in a spectacular setting with celebrities participating and is open to all registered delegates. Please be aware that the location is an hour away from the conference site but this is an event you will be sorry to miss. The dress code is ETHNIC. Be prepared to dance the night away. So as we await you we are celebrating “Pongal” our harvest festival with the hope that we will all have a good harvest at “THE FESTIVAL”.
